custom celebration paintings
preserve the memory of your celebration with a deeply personal heirloom watercolor painting
modern consumerism makes it easy to fill our spaces with new trendy decor. I strive to provide an antidote to this by creating custom paintings that will fill your space with memory and meaning.
celebration paintings are not limited to bridal bouquets, and can be created with any botanical subject!
I believe celebrations can be big events like a wedding or other ceremony, and also the acknowledgment of personal milestones or honoring the past. whether I am using a bridal bouquet, professional floral arrangement, or a grouping of your favorite wildflowers, I can create a meaningful piece of art for your home.
all paintings are created with the highest quality pigments (hand-milled in Colorado) on archival quality 100% cotton watercolor paper, and sealed with a UV protective spray. these paintings are created to last for generations!

faqs:
- does the background shape have to be black? I can use any color that will provide an anchor or contrast for your bouquet to stand out, including bright colors, or a solid background.
- can you have prints of my painting made for me to share with friends and family? yes, absolutely! I work with a wonderful local pittsburgh printer and can have prints made of your painting as long as you request this before I ship the painting to you.
- my wedding already happened, but would love a painting made from my existing wedding photos, can you work from old photographs? usually, yes! As long as I am able to get a high-resolution image of your bouquet I can use it as reference. send me your photos and I will let you know!
- can you frame my painting? absolutely. I can send your painting unframed or mount the painting to a basswood panel, seal it with wax, and mount it in a wood floating frame. Framing costs range from $150-$300 depending on the size of the work.
- how long until I receive my painting? I will give you an estimated timeline once I receive your deposit, but you can expect to receive your finished painting within 3 months (or sooner!)
how to photograph your bouquet:
- have a friend, family member, bridal party member, or your professional photographer take the photos of your bouquet using any decent-quality camera (most smart-phone camera work just fine!)
- the most important thing is to make sure the botanicals are in focus and that you capture several different angles.
